UK: PROCEEDS OF CRIME UPDATE - NEWSLETTER NO 48 CONFERENCES AND EVENTS

The Fraud Advisory Panel in association with The Arts Club will be holding a
one day conference on Art and Crime at the Chartered Accountants' Hall,
Moorgate Place, London, EC2P 2BJ on Monday 23rd May 2005. Art theft, forgery
and fraud and the law relating to art and crime will be covered.
The London Regional Conference looking at how the Proceeds of Crime Act can
be used to reduce crime locally will take place on Wednesday 25 May
2005 at the Millennium Hotel, Mayfair. It will be hosted jointly by the
regional Government Office, the Home Office and the Assets Recovery Agency.
