 Raiders steal oil painting

A Victorian oil painting worth £3,500 has been stolen from a Bridgnorth
business. Police are urging art galleries and antique centres to help trace
the distinctive painting by John H Dell. 

It was stolen on Friday afternoon form an business which has not been named.
Officers investigating the incident said a thief was caught on CCTV. 

The painting, which is in a gilt frame measuring 10 by six inches, shows a
farmyard scene with a woman feeding ducks outside a thatched cottage or
barn. 

The owner is offering a reward for information leading to its return and the
conviction of the thief. Anyone with information can call police on 08457
444 888.
