This is an article from the Concordia University alumni magazine about
Canadian art collector and gallery owner Max Stern, the seizure of his
art collection by the Nazis and the attempts by Concordia and his
estate to recover them. Despite the fact that I have no experience in
art history this article piqued my interest in the subject and I now
intend to pursue this interest further.
